CAMOLA celebrated its tenth (10th) anniversary in grand style in 2002, with a massive turnout of the communities in and around Massachusetts; and the event was graced by the presence of His Royal Highness Fon Angwafo II of the Mankon Tribe of Cameroon.

CAMOLA orchestrated and succeeded in the establishment of a Sister-City relationship between the City of Lowell, MA, and Bamenda, Cameroon, on November 6, 2002.

This is a project in continuous need of funding, and your generous donations will be gratefully welcome. Please mail donation check for this cause to CAMOLA, P.O. Box 1183, Lowell, MA 01853 with Memo showing: Tatum AIDS Project.

CAMOLA also supports through annual contributions to Educare Africa, a non-profit organization, dedicated to improving the living and learning conditions of students in Cameroon.

CAMOLA is proud to take the lead and carry the torch to shine the cultural and community light in the Greater Lowell area, not just for the Cameroonian Community, but for the African community at large. Members of the community are encouraged to join us annually in Traditional attire, downtown Lowell (Hamilton Canal Park) on the Saturday after Thanksgiving for the City of Lights Parade.

CAMOLA provides special group term life insurance, not only to its full members but to the broader community of Cameroonians in the area, to help with the repatriation of loved ones’ remains to the homeland in case of death. Send inquiries via e-mail at camola1183@yahoo.com.
